SED

With the applicaiton of the revised coordination regulations, the data exchange between the institutions of the social insurances shall basically be applied electronically. The electronic data exchange takes place over the system EESSI (Electronic Exchange of Social Security Information). During the transitional period until 30 April 2012, the structured electronic documents (SED) can also be used in paper form, if the institutions are not ready yet to exchange data electronically.
